We are working with one of the leading firms in York on the hire of a further employment solicitor to join the team and help further develop their employment law offering.

The opportunity
- Join the very well established employment team who work closely together to deliver an exceptional level of service to their business clients
- Work on the full range of employment work to include day to day advice, discrimination claims, wrongful & unfair dismissal, redundancy & restructuring, TUPE transfers, business immigration, restrictive covenants, settlement agreements, contracts and policies
- Most of the work is standalone employment work, together with some corporate support in relation to business sales and acquisitions
- Get involved in your own advocacy if that is your bag
- Get very much involved in the business development initiatives of the team and the wider firm to help further develop the department
- There are excellent career progression opportunities within a team with great capacity to further grow

About you
- You will be an experienced respondent-based employment solicitor who is looking to be based in York
- Ideally you will have at least 4 years' PQE although slightly more junior lawyers with very strong credentials will be considered
- You will be strong technically with well honed client skills
- You will be looking for a firm that is supportive and has ambitions to further grow
