Corporate Lawyer, German Speaking

An international group of businesses in a highly acquisitional phase is looking to hire a mid to senior level corporate lawyer to join the small but growing central legal team. Working directly with the Global General Counsel, a particular focus of this role will be working on the acquisition of large German assets, preparing and negotiating commercial contacts and providing ongoing corporate support of those assets. We are looking for someone with the confidence to lead on large transactions and instruct external counsel and would like private company and business acquisition buy-side experience. You will be involved in commercial decision making with the global leadership team, seeing deals through from inception to close. Wider group legal function work will include providing a wide range of legal advice across the metals, engineering and financial services sectors. You will also assist with corporate advisory, general commercial, competition and regulatory matters.

To be considered for this position you should a German speaking corporate lawyer between 4 and 10 years qualified, with strong academics and a good training from a top City Firm.
