Kennedys is looking for a Recruitment Manager to focus on global partner recruitment. In addition to partner recruitment, the Recruitment Manager will also manage the global partner promotion process and global partner leavers process. The role will be located in London, with a global remit, and reports into the Head of Recruitment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with key partners to fulfil their recruitment needs as well as supporting the wider recruitment team.
Team
Kennedys HR team support the Global Firm with all people related matters.
The team consists of the following sub teams; Business Partnering, Learning & Development, Operations, Recruitment, Trainees and Apprentices, Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity and Inclusion. The HR function is also responsible for the Secretarial function.
We have full HR presence in Singapore, Bangkok, Australia and the US, and our Office Managers in other countries have involvement in HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an excellent, proactive professional recruitment service in order to attract and recruit high calibre senior talent, in accordance with Firm strategy and recruitment budget
- Manage all partner recruitment globally, with support and direction from the Managing Partner and Head of Recruitment (there will be occasional requirement to work outside of normal working day to accommodate time zones)
- Increase direct attraction of partners and senior talent by producing detailed market maps which demonstrate an excellent understanding of the legal market
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of our direct recruitment approach and suggest where further improvement is desirable
- Lead the annual internal global partner promotion processes including but not limited to liaising with internal candidates and supporting them through the interview process, producing all required documentation and remuneration changes.
Required experience
- Experience in recruiting partner roles (or senior-level legal roles) within a legal environment. Alternatively a qualified solicitor who is looking for a change of career
- Detailed knowledge of how a partnership operates and experience working in this environment
- Demonstrable ability in using recruitment tools to create market maps, making confidential direct approaches and delivering an exceptional candidate experience
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels but particularly at partner level
- Excellent stakeholder relationships and proven ability to influence
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple senior roles and stakeholders at one time.
