This firm is very busy within its healthcare and advisory team in Exeter.
They are now searching for an additional solicitor to join them, and specifically give advice and representation on health and social care advisory issues to NHS bodies, local authorities and independent health and social care providers.
You will advise on matters involving mental health, court of protection, mental capacity and deprivation of liberty, inquests, medical treatment decisions and welfare planning disputes, safeguarding, access and funding disputes. This will often involve liaison with other departments up and down the country.
This vacancy will have a particular focus on inquests, and inquests experience is therefore essential.
Please note: if you are a clinical negligence solicitor looking to diversify into this area of law, unfortunately this role is unlikely to suit you right now, unless you have inquests experience.
To fulfil this role, you will be a qualified solicitor with up to 10 years’ relevant experience. Ideally, you should have strong advocacy skills, combined with a healthcare background, inquest experience, and a strong understanding of the NHS.
Excellent salary up to £65,000, plus excellent benefits associated with working for a top class UK law firm.
Exeter-based vacancy, but strong work-from-home bias meaning you only need to attend the Exeter office once per fortnight.
Please contact Paul Norman for more information and a confidential discussion.
