Housing Possession Paralegal

LAW Absolute is working with a local authority based in London who are seeking a Housing Paralegal for three months initially.

Our client is seeking a Housing Paralegal with substantial experience in possession proceedings. It is essential that you can show a track record in issuing possession proceedings in respect of premises provided as temporary accommodation and/or premises occupied by unauthorised tenants. You will also have conduct of defended and undefended matters and will represent the council before the court.

Due to the need to work unsupervised, our client is seeking a housing paralegal with previous possession proceedings experience and ideally someone with previous local government experience. Candidates without the requisite level of possession proceedings experience will not be considered for the role.
