Regional heavyweight seeks a Construction Lawyer to join its ambitious team in Leeds. This Construction Lawyer opportunity is offered on a full time, permanent basis.
The Team
* Multi-partner team with an outstanding reputation for its construction and engineering work
* Advise clients in connection with commercial and industrial development, infrastructure, housebuilding, healthcare, education, retail
The Construction Lawyer opportunity
* Join a well-established construction and engineering team to deliver a wide range of services to a varied client base
* Manage a caseload combining contentious and aspects of non-contentious & advisory work
* Advise clients and conduct a wide range of advisory and contentious matters including negotiations, dispute avoidance, adjudications, court & arbitration proceedings, mediations and other forms of ADR
* Advise on and draft construction and engineering contracts, professional appointments, warranties, bonds, guarantees and other project documentation
About you
* C 1-5 years' PQE construction solicitor with both contentious and non-contentious skills
* Business development skills
* Possess the ability to supervise and delegate work to trainee solicitors & paralegals as appropriate
