QED Legal are recruiting for a family Solicitor for a well regarded high street practice based in Stockton On Tees.

The Role
Handling a mix of privately paying and legal aid funded matters to include divorce and separation, ancillary relief and children matters (both privately and publicly funded)
Conducting own advocacy
contributing to marketing and business development.

The Person
At least 2 years PQE
prior experience of handling a diverse caseload 
Prior legal aid experience 
Ability to travel locally between offices

The Firm

The firm has a good reputation in the North East. They are multi service and lots of work that comes into the business is from word of mouth recommendations, and their prominence in the local communities they serve.

The culture of the firm is more of a ‘family feel’, and although they do commercial work as well as personal law they are more like a traditional practice where employees are treated like people rather than numbers.

Salary is competitive dependent on experience and we are happy to discuss expectation levels and other benefits with those candidates interested in the position.
