Are you a newly qualified lawyer looking to take on an adults lawyer position in a local authority? If so, please get in touch.

I am currently recruiting for a locum adults lawyer to join a local authority based in London. The Council is very well respected and sought after as an employer. The current adults team is very busy so they are looking for an additional team member to join them. They are happy to consider newly qualified lawyers who are enthusiastic and hard working, ready to take the plunge in an exciting and varied role.

The day to day duties will involve handling adult social care matters such as:

  • No Recourse to Public Funds
  • Judicial Reviews
  • Care Act
  • Court of Protection
  • Mental Capacity

This role would really suit a newly qualified lawyer from local authority, although candidates from private practice are also encouraged to apply if they can show relevant experience. Training will be provided and the candidate will join an established, friendly, and supportive team. The role is initially all remote working but some office presence may be required in due course. The offices are serviced by excellent transport links.

This is a great opportunity for an adults lawyer looking to build and develop their career in local authority.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
