Head of Compliance/MLRO

A start up in the payments industry is currently looking for an experienced compliance professional to come in and own the compliance function as the company grows. You will be required to design and implement policies as a compliance framework is created and will be the MLRO for the organisation, creating policies to tackle financial crime. You will work closely on strategy matters with the Chief Legal Officer and there will be some responsibility for risk management, at least in the short term.

For this position, we are looking for an experienced compliance professional, who is confident working autonomously but also looking to grow a team. You should have experience liaising directly with the regulator and ideally have experience of a fintech, payments or start-up financial services environment.
