Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts Solicitor

SGR Legal are presenting this exciting opportunity on behalf of our client, a Legal 500 recommended midlands firm.

The Role

In this role you will be dealing with complex wills, probate, inheritance tax and trust matters including high-value estate administration. You will be supporting junior members as a senior part of the team and signing off work when required. The role requires effective delegation of work alongside the head of department.

Experience is required in all aspects of wills, probate, tax and trust processes. You will obtain deputyship orders from the Court of protection when required and act on behalf of court appointed deputies. You will need to maintain accurate records and update team members as needed. You will be required to develop relationships and gain new client work. In the absence of the head of department you will need the confidence to deputise in department matters.

The Candidate

Previously mentioned experience is required. You will need to be an excellent, confident communicator who will build good working relationships with colleagues and strong relationships with clients.

In the role you will be managing your own workload while supporting junior members and delegating work. Therefore it is essential that you are an organised and able to manage multiple enquiries.

Good working I.T. knowledge is required and experience using Microsoft office. You will be a senior member of the team able to confidently contribute to the development of the department in areas of business development and marketing.
