An established and successful in-house legal department are seeking a litigation solicitor as they expand and the role will see you work on high profile and pecedent setting matters on a national level.
The current team of 6 have been instrumental in developing processes and managing risk for all the legal work within the organisation. Due to continued success, they would now like to hire a litigation solicitor (3-5 yrs PQE) to take on a broad caseload of work.
You will ideally be someone who is able to be proactive and able to deal with litigation matters early in the process or even before they happen, and your experience should include cyber crime, public liability claims (claims for unlawful arrest and false imprisonment, assault/battery, malicious prosecution and misfeasance in public office), together with experience of general litigation claims, property disputes, judicial review and debt recovery matters. You should be able to manage matters with minimal supervision and have good advocacy experience but can expect support from counsel.
You can expect a market rate salary along with enhanced pension and holiday allowance. The role will allow for office and remote working, with the expectation that you will need to be flexible as you will be working on high profile and time sensitive matters.
