Commercial Property Associate NQ – 3 years’ PQE NORTH YORKSHIRE

Commercial law firm in North Yorkshire is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Associate of 0 to 3 years’ PQE. If you are already qualified, you will ideally have experience across a broad range of Commercial Property law including at least some of the following areas:

• Landlord and tenant including drafting and negotiating leasehold documentation to include leases (head leases, underleases, reversionary leases), licences (licence to underlet, licence to alter, licence to assign) and also deeds (deed of variation). 

• Investment sales and purchases including reporting on title, raising enquiries, drafting and negotiating contract documentation and dealing with all post completion requirements.  

• acting on behalf of lenders (whether by way of joint representation or otherwise) on secured lending work is also desirable.

Alongside the requisite technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent client management skills, good researching and drafting ability, and a commitment to maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice. Experience with business development is also an advantage. If you are newly-qualified solicitor, you will, ideally, have undertaken a seat in Commercial Property law during your training.
