Private Client Lawyer - Tax

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join the private wealth team of a leading legal 500 multi office law firm based in the Midlands. This Private Client Lawyer role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your New Role

In this rare opportunity, you will work alongside a team of highly respected lawyers who are experts in the field of private wealth.

This is a fiercely independent law firm with one of the largest private client teams in the region. Many of the team are recognised in the Legal 500 and well known throughout the area, having built up a strong client base through several decades of quality service.

The newly appointed Private Client Lawyer will be senior member of the team in a role with real potential to progress further.

On a day to day basis you will:

• Working on private wealth and tax matters autonomously and as part of the team.
• Provide support to the wider team covering areas relating to estate and tax planning, trust administration and probate.
• Supervise junior members of the team.

About You

Applications are invited from Solicitors and Legal Executives who demonstrate:

• An interest in tax and willingness to work in a team both on your own matters and supporting others.
• Business development experience is not essential, but we would expect at least 5 years’ PQE.
• STEP qualified.
• Detailed knowledge and experience of inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax and stamp duty land tax.
