LAW Absolute is working with a local authority in North West London who are seeking a Childcare Solicitor for three months initially.
This temporary role is being offered on a full time basis with staff predominantly working from home. There may be a requirement to attend the offices occasionally.
The successful locum Childcare Lawyer will be required to pick up a full caseload from the outset consisting of both PLO and cases in proceedings. You will be expected to carry a caseload of circa 10 cases in proceedings. It is essential that you have public childcare experience as there is no training provided with this role. The ability to undertake IRH’s, CMH’s and other hearings is essential.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend the offices on their first day to collect their IT equipment. Due to the urgent nature of the role, candidates must be available on no more than two weeks’ notice. Previous local authority experience is advantageous.
