Dispute Resolution Lawyer NQ+ job - Legal 500 and Chambers Ranked Firm - Bath


Your new company
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Legal 500 and Chambers ranked firm who are seeking an NQ-2 PQE Dispute Resolution solicitor to join their expanding, friendly team in Bath. The team acts for a wide range of clients including a number of household names and has a strong reputation in the region and undertakes a wide range of commercial, civil, and health and social care litigation and regulatory work. The firm are working full time remotely at the minute, however once they do return to the office, it is highly unlikely that you will be expected into the office more than 3 times a week.

Your new role
You will manage a caseload of circa 10-20 files, under supervision, dealing effectively with cases including contract disputes, commercial disputes, insolvency work, health and social care regulatory and other health and social care work. You will assist more senior fee earners with client work as well as dealing directly with clients to take instructions. You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers to develop client relationship management skills and attend to clients' advocacy and negotiating requirements, such as negotiation, mediation and court hearings, ensuring the most appropriate solutions for the client.

You will enjoy the opportunity to develop a very wide range of experience and as you progress, you will be supported to develop your own areas of speciality but will be willing to do some healthcare work. You will deliver a consistently high standard of legal advice and outstanding client service in a commercially astute manner. You will assist with the marketing of the department's services and undertake business development activities to build on the firm and team's reputation for excellence.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified solicitor between 0-2 years PQE, with previous experience within commercial and civil litigation. If joining at the NQ level, you will have completed a seat in litigation and have a genuine desire to develop a career in this area of law. You will have a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and court practice and will be a self-starter with good technical litigation skills.
