Legal Counsel

We are thrilled to be working in partnership with this newly established Media Company in their search for a Legal Counsel to join their busy UK team.

Supporting the UK Head of Legal you will provide legal advise as follows;

The role

• Supporting the commercial, client and new business teams on commercial negotiations.
• Reviewing, negotiating and drafting supplier contracts.
• Supporting the business by summarising and explaining key contractual terms and obligations of client contracts at both the point of set-up and on an ongoing basis.
• Advising the business on legal risk and ensuring alignment with group policy.
• Supporting on pitches for prospective clients.

Skills

• Qualified solicitor.
• Strong commercial contracts experience.
• Ability to understand legal issues and explain them clearly to the business.
• In-house legal experience a MUST
• Media industry experience advantageous
• An interest in the Media industry a MUST.
