We are seeking a Data Privacy Paralegal to join a US law firm on a permanent basis. The firm is looking for someone ideally with a legal background and some paralegal, compliance or administrative experience with some GDPR/ data protection law knowledge. The team are primarily responsible for reviewing data breach reports and taking any remedial action, and this role will involve: Working on global data-mapping for the register of processing activities (involves interviews with internal application managers to interrogate nature of data and processing)Dealing with vendor management issues & carrying out first-cut contract reviews.Involvement in training initiativesPreparing data transfer agreements with clients and other partiesHelping with data privacy reviews in routine internal projects/procurement Assistance with respect to any data subject access requests If you meet the above criteria, please apply now for consideration.
