A prestigious UK Law Firm is looking for a Paralegal to join them on a permanent basis, initially working remotely, to work in their Retail team which is a part of the Media, IP, Technology, Outsourcing and Commercial team, assisting Partners, Legal Directors, Associates and Trainees in London. The work will be a mixture of commercial matters, data protection, IT, IP, Media and Commercial Litigation, in addition to Retail. Responsibilities will include playing a key role in the firm's "Retail Pillar" group and its strategic business development work, including supporting with the Retail Compass publication, retail blog, brochure, monthly reports, events, calendar/planner and intranet page, overseeing, reviewing and arranging sign-off of content, subscribing, reviewing and summarising various blogs to the key Retail team members, supporting key Partners on all retail related initiatives and being proactive in progressing them, liaising with the Business Development team to arrange weekly meetings, produce marketing materials and managing retail target lists, using legal databases and text books to obtain case law, articles, background etc relevant to the Retail sector and organising this information into a manageable format for the Retail team and assisting with the conduct of litigation/arbitration/mediation and involvement in key stages. This role is paying up to £28-32,000 withg standard hours being 9:30am to 5:30pm. Candidates need to have a minimum of 6 month paralegal experience, preferably within Commercial Litigation or IP, excellent academics and great attention to detail and communication skills.
