This smaller full service London firm is looking for an ambitious junior associate with a good grounding in equity capital markets work who is keen to move up a level and start to take responsibility for running transactions, initially under supervision but with a view to managing their own workload. The team currently consists of three partners and one senior associate who are focussed on ECM work, with other associates and trainees from elsewhere in the corporate team being drafted in to assist as required. The team now needs to recruit a dedicated associate to help handle the heavy current and anticipated workload of new listings, reverse takeovers and general advisory work from an increasing body of small to medium sized quoted companies, and to support the continued growth of the team within a larger thriving corporate group.

The ideal level is between 1 and 3 years – depending on the level of CM.

Ideally you will have the following experience:

IPOs – experience of standard listing IPOs generally, although experience of premium listings would be a bonus. Specifically, familiarity with the FCA approval/electronic approval process, checklists, ancillary documents. Also admissions to AIM.

Advice on compliance with the Listing Rules, the AIM Rules, the Market Abuse Regulation, and the Companies Acts (including in particular PDMR dealings and preparation of AGM documentation)

Managing/delivering due diligence reports and the verification process

Experience of reverse takeovers, and exposure to the City Code on Takeover and Mergers would be helpful but not essential
