Applications Analyst

Leading London law firm is looking to hire a new IT Applications Analyst who has a proven IT troubleshooting skill set and an understanding of applications end-to-end. This role is to provide 2nd and 3rd line support for applications and desktop environments, both remotely and in person – this role will be initially working from home with permanent offices being based in Canary Wharf. Duties will include dealing with 3rd line incidents, requests and problems, leveraging “cloud” services where possible, the configuration of the firm’s applications, interoperability and the desktop environments to provide the basis on which the firm works. This role is a 35 hour working week with shifts ranging from 8am to 7pm. Applicants, ideally should have legal IT experience,although not essential as previous working knowledge in an Application Support role (3+ years in environments with 200+ users), excellent Windows Desktop Operating Systems and Windows Server knowledge (Windows 10, Server 2008 and above), strong experience in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Citrix, Desktop provisioning, working understanding of application Configuration, upgrading, support and packaging via Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and day-to-day experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory is far more important to this hire. Candidates with relevant degree or professional qualifications will be preferred as will knowledge of ReKoop, BigHand, Norwell, DMS, PMS, NetDocs and Tikit TMS. The salary range is £35,000-42,5000
