We have an opening for an experienced Finance Paralegal to join a very prestigious US Law firm’s Capital Markets team! If you are looking for a new and exciting opportunity to flex your Paralegal skills in a corporate department, this is the role for you! The massive advantage of this role is that it will be working very closely with and reporting into the Partner and this opportunity can give you massive exposure.

Capital Markets Paralegal duties:

• Assisting in developing and broadening client relationships, and acting as a point of contact for clients.
• Prepare and draft documentation, including articles of association, corporate approvals, transaction documents and running condition precedents.
• Conduct Legal Research and carry out all aspects of case management and assist the Partners and Senior Lawyers.
• Review transaction documents and alert lawyers to issues that may arise with the documents.
• General administrative duties that may be required to be carried out.

The ideal Capital Markets Paralegal:

• Will have an LLB/GDL qualification (minimum 2:1).
• Has at least 1 years’ experience in a Finance Paralegal role, preferably in a Corporate or Finance department.
• Has an understanding and knowledge of corporate transactions.
• Will be a team player.
• Is organised, diligent and methodical in their work.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work with your own initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite.
