Prestigious UK law firm is looking to hire a new Procurement Manager to join their Risk team and reporting directly to the General Counsel. The main two focuses for this role is to streamline the firm's procurement and contracting process as well as to help design and implement a new contract management system. The main responsibilities for this role will be liaising with the relevant internal teams to finalise the system design of the new contract management system (High Q), assisting with creating template(s) in order to capture the relevant information for managing the supply chain contracts and basic details of the same, working with various business service teams across the Firm to ensure that all current contracts are identified and captured within the system, managing the download of the contracts to the system, complete all data entry required by agreed form template(s), assisting with developing a process for how the contract lifecycle is then maintained, tracked and communicated to the relevant business service teams  (i.e. alerts for expiry/ renewal / extension dates / key change dates / notice triggers), providing a high-level review of key commercial terms of supplier contracts across a broad range of areas, liaising with the legal team, business service team representatives and any other relevant "in house" stakeholders to understand the key requirements and associated timelines for implementing, renewing and terminating a supplier contracts, providing practical advice on the operational aspects of the supply chain, coordinating and delegating tasks to the relevant service areas to ensure deliverables to settling and signing up contracts are met, being responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the contract management system, the contract lifecycle processes, templates and intranet links, giving and support the ongoing training programmes for the business service teams to ensure an ongoing consistency of application of the procurement systems and disciplines. The client is looking for enthusiastic candidates who have either similar experiences as a Manager or candidates who are ready to make their first step into management. This role is initially remote working and the hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm, the salary for this role is up to £60,000.
