The Role

They are looking to hire a Court of Protection Deputy 5 years+ PQE to join their growing, deep rooted Legal 500 Court of Protection department. You will be working on the Health and Welfare side of Court of Protection.

The team comprises of, the Managing Partner, 2 solicitors and some support staff. There is currently a large amount of work in house so they are looking for someone who can work alongside them with the view to grow the department and drive the business forward.

This department works on some complex and interesting cases, representing different parties and family members before the courts. The cases include deciding on various areas of a client's welfare including Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Judicial Reviews, LPAs, carer's rights and issues relating to the Care Act 2014.

Requirements

• You will be a Court of Protection Deputy 5 years+ PQE
• You will possess a passion for working within Court of Protection

• You will have excellent communication skills
• You must be someone who is a self-starter
• You will have a strong collaborative approach to working
• A meticulous eye for detail is essential
