The Role

The firm is looking for Banking Solicitor / Lawyer 1+ PQE to join their outstanding team, which is one of the most well-recognised outside of London based in Bristol, Somerset.

This would role would suit an ambitious Solicitor or existing associate looking for a team in which you can achieve the progression you want and deserve.

Working closely with the Partners, you will benefit from their wealth of expertise and help drive the department forward.

You'll work across matters such as advising borrowers, lenders and sponsors on a variety of debt (and debt-related) transactions. These transactions vary in size from £1 million to £1 billion.

The firm's core market is debt of £20 million to £200 million. The team handle complex financing matters for clients on both a UK and cross-jurisdictional basis.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor - Banking 1+ PQE
• Your background could be directly from a Banking team or this could perhaps also suit someone coming from a more general corporate team where you have dealt with a strong level of banking transactions.
• Experience of business development will be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail are essential
• Salary is likely to be above market rate depending on your level of experience, plus an exceptional bonus structure and benefits package
