We are delighted to be instructed on this in-house senior Commercial lawyer role with one of Yorkshire ‘s biggest name brands.

You will be joining one of the regions most sizable legal teams and will be working amongst a brilliant group of hard-working and supportive lawyers.

As one of the busiest organisations in its industry and with millions of customers, there is a huge amount of variety to the matters you might be dealing with from one day to the next.

Diversity is what makes this role so interesting and the team is therefore looking for someone who can embrace the unknown and get up to speed with new issues quickly. Although there will be some industry-specific issues to advise on, you will mainly be working on a plethora of general commercial contracts matters.

The role will involve you drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of supplier and outsourcing agreements (B2B and B2C) as well as attending to some data protection matters affecting the business and its operations.  You may also need to provide regulatory and compliance advice on regulated products and promotional materials.

Whatever your background, you will need to have achieved top academics, be able to present yourself and your advice in a professional and confident manner and have a strong “can do” attitude to work and your development.

Although you would officially work from impressive offices in Leeds with excellent transport links, you will need to work remotely at first due to current pandemic-related restrictions. You will be provided with hardware and IT support as well as a company phone.

This is a rare proposition as senior roles such as these are few and far between.
