An opportunity to broaden your experience is available to a junior derivatives lawyer within this stable and professional legal team. This position is within a large retail bank, more entrepreneurial in many ways than the others, and you will therefore work in a smaller team on a broader mix of work. Prospects to grow your skill set to support multiple businesses and products as well as gain wider structured finance, securitsation and treasury experience will be available. Your priority will be to support the repo flow business, but as part of the broader team you will also deal with regulatory matters, understanding the changes and analysing new legislation including embedding changes due to Brexit. You will work on wider projects with other teams around the bank and keep up to date with market infrastructure.
For this position we are looking for someone with between 1 and 5 years derivatives experience. This could be from a top City law firm or from a solid spell in-house with another wholesale bank. You will receive excellent exposure to the high performing business and as much autonomy as you can handle.
