Leading international firm has a new position for an Associate to join their leading Real Estate Department.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly rated real estate team, which is consistently rated number one with a leading reputation across a broad spectrum of industries and markets. Due to an increase in work, the firm are seeking a real estate senior associate to join this extremely busy and highly successful department.
You will have a background in development and general commercial real estate work. Experience in the rail or infrastructure sectors is preferable but not essential. You will deal with commercial development and infrastructure projects, investment based disposals and acquisitions (including corporate share acquisitions), restructuring and insolvency transactions, including:
- Working with a team of junior associates, paralegals and construction and planning colleagues to deliver nationally significant rail and infrastructure projects
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial real estate documents including: sale/purchase contracts, development agreements, infrastructure framework agreements, agreements for lease and option and promotion agreements
- Dealing with real estate due diligence requirements such as the preparation/review of certificates/reports on title
- Carrying out asset management and portfolio management work and providing general landlord/tenant leasing advice
This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. You will work from home and benefit from mature remote supervision, support and collaboration.
