The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Services - Funds Associate/Senior Associate to join this top International practice in their City of London office.

You will be part of the financial services funds team that is recognised in as a leading group in the legal 500 and international directories. You will work with leading asset and wealth managers, banking groups, brokerage houses, investment exchanges, commodity traders and other financial institutions.

• You will be splitting your time across open-ended hedge funds and IMA/SMA Negotiation working for institutional managers.
• Knowledge of related regulation, including AIFMD, MiFID and UCITS will be required.
• You will be advising clients on and new and developing initiatives including AIFMD, ESG and the post-Brexit landscape.

Requirements

• You will be a solicitor between 3-6 years PQE
• You will have good exposure to investment management products and services, both in the institutional asset manager and hedge funds space
• You will have experience with reviewing and negotiating IMAs/SMA's (Preferable)
• Strong client focus and ability to get actively involved with marketing
