Permanent Commercial Lawyer – East of England - £59,000 -£60,000

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Commercial Lawyer to work for an In-House Public Sector Legal team in the East of England on a permanent basis. The organisation deals with major developments and improvements in respect of Transport, Housing, Education and Skills across the region.

 

You will be an experienced Solicitor/Barrister or Legal Executive that has a forward thinking professional with energy, flair, resilience and credibility from either a public sector or private practice background. You will have experience in one or two of the following areas, which include commercial contracts, commercial property or planning law.

 

This opportunity will allow you to expand on your current knowledge in the areas mentioned but also allow you to further develop a skill set given the wide variety of the project work, which is on offer. You will be leading on projects, which include residential and commercial housing and development schemes alongside new transport and railway functions. It is essential that candidates have a level of commercial understanding due to the nature of the organisations objectives and the projects the legal team will be supporting.

This will mostly remote based with the view of working partly in the office once government guidance allows.

An attractive salary of up to £59,280 is offered however this is negotiable dependent upon experience.
