Opportunity to work at a well established traditional law firm who are seeking a solicitor (Any level PQE) to deal with a caseload of public & private paying family law matters with a focus on financial & ancillary relief.
The role will initially see you deal with an existing client base and have a mix of private family and childcare matters. There will also be the opportunity to develop your own client base and build up your own work sources whilst working closely with a senior partner. Work is varied and will consist of divorce, ancillary relief, pre-nuptial agreements, domestic violence, injunctions, private children work as well as some childcare.
Your client base will be built up of local and regional clients who will often come into the office for face to face meetings, so prior experience of dealing with clients in this manner would be ideal. As this is an autonomous role you will be dealing with all aspects of the file from start to finish and you must be an experienced advocate, as this is in important part of this job role.
The existing Senior Partner is looking to retire in the near future, so this position will offer you the opportunity to gain experience at the firm before moving into a Partnership role and taking on the outgoing Partner responsibilities.
This position would suit a solicitor who is willing to work hard and help grow a department as well as dealing with a broad mix of work. Both part-time (4 days per week) and full time hours will be considered. Despite being a small practice they are able to offer remote working, flexibility on start/finish times and career progression.
Please contact Nick Skelly at QED Legal for further information on this role and a confidential chat.
