A leading law firm requires an additional Senior Solicitor for its corporate team. Based in central Newcastle, this Corporate Solicitor role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
Your New Role
The Corporate Solicitor will be responsible for assisting the department with a variety of corporate transactions including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Joint ventures
- Flotations and share issues
- Buy outs
- Corporate governance
As a senior member of the team it is expected that you will supervise more junior members, contribute to business development, client expansion and marketing.
About You
Applications are invited from qualified Solicitors who demonstrate:
- 4+ years’ PQE
- Solid corporate experience from a Legal 500 listed team
- Team leadership skills
- Experience of or willingness to get involved with business development and marketing
Salary
On offer for the Corporate Solicitor will be £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
