Permanent Legal Governance Officer – East of England – Up to £32,234

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Legal Governance Officer to work for a Public Sector Legal team in the East of England on a permanent basis. The organisation deals with major developments and improvements in respect of Transport, Housing, Education and Skills across the region.

You will support the Legal Services function in providing advisory and support services across the range of the organisations activities and projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting management systems, processes, and structures in line with corporate policies.

• Ensuring the quality and timeliness of Legal support and advice.

• Advising on the Constitution and Law procedure.

• Providing constitutional advice, and regulatory/operational support

• Providing legal advice to officers and members

• Drafting and negotiating documents

• Working on high-profile and complex matters with support and supervision

This will mostly remote based with the view of working partly in the office once government guidance allows. An attractive salary of up to £32,234 per annum is offered.
