SUMMARY

- Previous Experience: Strong academics and previous experience in insurance litigation. Small claims experience would be ideal.
NATURE OF THE RTA TEAM
The RTA department advises on the full gamut of claims brought against insurer clients from small claims litigation to 'big ticket' multi track work where claims are complex and of a high value. This particular role sits within the small claims team who deal with a large number of volume claims for certain key clients.
Lawyers advise household name insurers in well-managed teams where the focus is not only of client care, but developing staff and progressing careers when staff are ready. It should be noted that there are a number of examples of people who have started off as paralegals who are now practicing solicitors within the department.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have consistently strong academics with 6-12 months experience in a claims related role.
