Role: Actions Against the Police Paralegal

Leading law firm looking to recruit dedicated Paralegals for highly sought permanent position. Training contracts available for those with relevant experience.

The Role

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

• Assisting with casework
• Attending clients, taking instructions and preparing cases
• Dealing with correspondence
• Maintaining accurate time costing procedures
• Implementing any recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews ensuring that these are dealt with promptly
• Ensuring compliance with file management.

Key Skills Required

The successful candidate must demonstrate passion and experience in a broad range of public funded Actions against Police work.

The successful candidate must also have:-

• A strong academic background with a Law degree
• Relevant Legal experience as a Caseworker/Advisor
• Clear understanding and application of Claims Actions against Police work.
• An ability to market the Company
• Business acumen
• Excellent IT skills

This list is not exhaustive and there may be other duties as reasonably required.

Candidates with 12 months previous experience and who have completed the LPC will be considered for a Training Contract, subject to business needs.
