Media Lawyer - Arabic speaker

Support all digital media business units across various locations and advise the company on media publication and broadcasting laws, commercial and IP laws

My client is a media household name globally who operate as a coherent, performance driven business

Description

Provide legal expertise and advice on a number of legal areas such as commercial contracts, regulatory, employment, dispute resolution, and governance issues

Draft and negotiate programming and publishing contracts including rights acquisitions, content licenses, commissions, cast & crew agreements

Provide local and international know-how across the regional remit

Advise the senior legal team and other senior stakeholders on risk and regulatory changes

Profile

Candidates who apply should meet all of the below criteria:

• Law qualified and licensed under a relevant jurisdiction
• Fluent Arabic speaker (ability to review contracts in Arabic)
• Media experience: knowledge of media laws across multiple publication platforms
• Middle East experience is advantageous
