This well-established legal practice has a client focused ethos, with an excellent reputation for giving sound and realistic advice, they pride themselves on a friendly yet professional service that they provide to all their clients. The firm is looking for an enthusiastic experienced Childcare Solicitor. Someone confident, well-presented, friendly and approachable, with excellent communication skills. The ability to work unsupervised is essential. The position will involve managing and progressing your own caseload of publicly funded care work. You will advise clients in an effective, efficient manner, working with confidence both autonomously and within your team. The appointed individual must meet Family Law Legal Aid Supervisor Standards, ideally with Children’s Panel accreditation, or willing to work towards this. You will be the lead care lawyer within the team, supported by an experienced care secretary. Ideally 5+ years PQE, you will display excellent technical knowledge, first class interpersonal and motivational skills and a passion to drive the firm forwards. Good organisational, time management and IT skills, will be required and the ability to multi-task under pressure. Excellent standards of client care, a history of strong billing and a desire and the ability to help in the growth of the commercial department.
