Insurance Litigation Counsel - 12 months

A global consultancy business is currently looking to recruit an experienced litigation lawyer to join their fast paced and collegiate London team.

Reporting directly to the head of the team you will be involved in:

• Advising on contentious and non-contentious matters, such as providing legal input on compliance and regulatory matters (including the UK's FRC, FCA and ICAEW) and responding to regulatory inquiries;
• Litigation: advising and handling claims including amicable settlement of disputes, actively managing the handling of claims by external lawyers;
• Undertaking internal investigations;
• Providing legal advice to the firm's service lines and its other internal support functions such as real estate and facilities, procurement, finance, HR, IT, knowledge and marketing and the opportunity to be the legal lead on firm-wide projects.

Ideally you will be a UK qualified lawyer with at least 8 years' PQE gained in in the areas of insurance and or commercial litigation.
