Regulatory Compliance Solicitor 3+ PQE | National Firm | Birmingham

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regulatory / Compliance Solicitor (ideally with experience in the education sector) to join a busy team in Birmingham within a leading national firm dealing with a range of disputes and non-contentious regulatory matters primarily for clients within the education sector.

The Role

As a Regulatory Compliance Solicitor in this team you would:
- Predominantly work with schools, academies and universities but also for clients in the health and social care and charities sectors.
- Assist clients with the implementation, maintenance and review of policies and procedures and contracts, advise on the management of relationships and communications with regulators and inspectorates and help them with complaints and claims.
- Assist on further matters including inquests, risk management and data protection.

About You

To be successful in your application for this Regulatory Compliance Solicitor position you will:
- Be a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE ideally having worked for clients in the education sector.
- Have regulatory and compliance exposure whether from a pure regulatory or compliance role or as part of a wider litigation caseload.
- Enjoy developing and maintaining client relationships particularly with large organisations.
- Have experience of mentoring and developing juniors.
