Contracts Manager

Your new company
Growing organisation with an international presence and head quartered in the North West; easily commutable from Chester, Liverpool, Warrington, Crewe, South Manchester, Wigan, or Widnes. Following expansion of the business, an in-house legal adviser or commercial contracts manager is needed to focus on providing legal advice and support to the business for an interim contract of 6 months.

Your new role
Working closely with the EMEA procurement team, this is a business facing role where you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and reviewing a range of commercial and procurement contracts as well as supporting the team and advising on legal risks. This is hybrid legal and procurement role, where you will work with global teams across the business in reviewing and negotiating agreements. This role will be remote working from home during Covid 19 restrictions.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have a strong appreciation for contract law with experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements. You will either be a seasoned commercial contracts manager or paralegal with commercial contracts experience in-house. Ideally you will have experience in contracting management systems, preferably with a regulated business and you must have a legal academic background either as a law / LPC graduate or qualified as a Legal Executive or lawyer. You must have excellent communication and relationship building skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and challenge where necessary.
