Legal Counsel

A leading UK business in the property sector is seeking a 0-2 PQE Commercial Lawyer to join the team at their Head Office in Leicestershire on a Fixed Term basis with the potential to be made permanent.

The business is at the forefront of their field and, with a strong legal team in place, this is a superb opportunity for a junior lawyer to gain in-house experience in both commercial contracts and property-related matters.

The Role

Working alongside the Senior Lawyers, the Legal Counsel will provide legal advice to all areas of the business including Design, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement and Corporate. This is a highly diverse role and would suit a lawyer looking to take on a diverse range of work, including:
- Responding to queries from the company's divisions as well as Panel Solicitors
- Advising on commercial contracts matters as well as assisting the Company Secretary with the creation/acquisition of management/JV companies
- Assisting Heads of Department with strategic projects and training

The Person

You will be a 0-2 PQE lawyer with experience in commercial contracts who is interested in a career in-house. Any previous property experience (such as a training seat) or an interest in commercial property matters would be beneficial.
