Residential Conveyancer/ Solicitor, 3+ PQE, Warwickshire- up to £35,000 DOE.

The successful conveyancer/ solicitor will carry out all aspects of residential conveyancing, assisting with managing and supporting a small team at one office to ensure that work is carried out in an expeditious manner, meeting the standards required by Lexcel and CQS. 

THE ROLE:
Oversee and carry out all aspects of residential conveyancing including freehold and leasehold work, sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership and new plot purchases. Develop business opportunities within the Property Department and build a strong team. Manage the Warwickshire team and offer technical advice and support to other offices as required. Work in accordance with the Office Manual and policies of the Firm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Undertake residential conveyancing work on behalf of clients of the Firm. Supervising and managing other Fee Earners within the Firm’s structure and other staff as necessary. Dealing with clients, intermediaries and HM Land Registry etc. both in person and over the telephone. Ensure budgets are managed and met. Pro-active business development of self and Firm. Undertake any reasonable instructions given by management within the limits of this employment description. Continuing competency training to include compulsory CQS training. Supporting and reporting to the Head of Conveyancing.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years PQE in residential conveyancing. Experience with managing and supporting a small team. In addition, supporting the Head of Department with the wider team across all office where needed. Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills and strong business development skills. Good organisation, managerial and administration skills and sound knowledge of conveyancing procedures, CQS Protocol and Anti-Money Laundering legislation. Experience of Lexcel standard is desirable.
