Your new company
Lancashire based organisation, with a strong UK presence, is looking to recruit a Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager to take ownership of corporate governance and compliance matters for the business and drive high standards at all levels of the company.

Your new role
Reporting into the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for corporate governance and compliance, maintaining risk registers, introducing policies and procedures as well as delivering training and ensuring governance best practice. You will also be involved in legal compliance and risk projects and will be engaging with senior stakeholders at leadership and executive level.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a compliance, legal and/or corporate governance background in order to deal with regulatory and corporate compliance matters including data protection, Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery and Modern Slavery Act. You will need to be a strong communicator and have a natural flair for building meaningful relationships when engaging with the business, with the ability to challenge and influence where necessary. Legal and/or compliance qualifications are preferred and compliance professionals qualified by experience will also be considered.

What you'll get in return
This is a fantastic role for a Compliance Officer looking to take more responsibility in a standalone role or an experienced Compliance Manager looking to join a business where you can make an impact in a newly created position. You will join a friendly yet driven working environment and there is flexibility over working pattern; full-time working hours are available with a salary up to c£45k and for more experienced compliance professionals, you can receive a higher full-time equivalent salary for working 3 to 4 days a week.
