The Company
A global company with over 20,000 employees. The companies main focus is financial information and analytics. The legal team are looking fr a junior commercial lawyer to join their legal team in London. Currently the team are working fully remote with the hope of being back in the office around April (this will depend on government guidance at that time).
The Role
This position will be varied and interesting, the main element of the role will be to negotiate and draft commercial contracts such as technology agreements, service agreements and software licenses. Other duties will include supporting on M&A transactions, data privacy, regulatory and IP issues.
You
This role will be suitable for a UK qualified lawyer 2-5 pqe (as a guideline). Private practise trained from a reputable London firm, preferably with a secondment in house, although this isn't essential. You will have previous commercial contracts experience, ideally with a tech element. An advantage will be to also have experience in either M&A, data privacy or IP.
