If you’re a qualified lawyer not enjoying the hours and culture of private practice and thinking about a change, have you considered a Covenant Analyst role? One of the top ratings agencies is currently hiring into this small and friendly team, part of a larger international department. The role involves reviewing and legal analysis of high yield bond and leveraged loan documentation, and publishing findings in reports heavily relied upon by global investors and the financial press. You will create structured data sets, write issuance reports and report on special situations, distressed credits and covenant trends. You will deal with enquiries from investors on published research.
To be considered for this role you should be a junior qualified lawyer with experience in the debt capital markets team at a leading law firm. You should understand complex legal concepts and have excellent communication skills and good attention to detail. You need to have a passion to be part of a business driving change but all other training will be provided.
