A Stockport based multi-service law firm is currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Legal Cashier to join its legal accounts department on a full time basis due to expansion. You will be required to have experience of volume conveyancing accounts at a senior legal cashier level and be fully compliant with the solicitor’s accounts rules.
You will be working within a team of 6 legal cashier’s reporting directly to the head of legal accounts. The firm is offering a competitive salary banding, plus benefits package.
You will be dealing with accounting checks, balances and procedures in support of the growth, working within a busy team with a large volume of conveyancing transactions on a weekly basis.
You will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and having experience of volume residential conveyancing on Proclaim is essential.
Managing an accounts team and overseeing and assisting with Payroll and VAT Returns, bank and control account reconciliations and preparation of month/year end accounts is a pre-requisite.
