Our client is a Lancashire based technology company offering diversified TMT services and solutions. The business has a history of growth and expansion, and the legal function is a critical department offering support, guidance and advice on a range of legal, commercial, regulatory and project matters.
Role:
To support the Head of Department, a circa 2-5 years' PQE Commercial / IT Solicitor is required. The post-holder will report into the Head of Legal and work alongside a Senior Counsel and another Legal Counsel.
The Legal Counsel position will focus on general commercial and IT contract matters including NDAs, Novation Agreements, Supply Contracts, and business as usual matters for customers. You will also work on wider affairs related to Data Protection, procurement, the legal database, precedent projects and internal training of stakeholders.
About you:
Ideally you will be a commercial and/or IT/Telco solicitor with experience at a leading regional, national or international law firm, or an equivalent in-house department.
Whilst existing IT, Software or Telco experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. An interest and willingness to work in a fast-paced technology focused business is critical.
