US law firm in the City is looking to recruit a Derivatives lawyer of 3 or more years’ PQE. The team covers a broad spectrum of complex derivatives products. They are one of the leading firms involved in derivatives and have been involved in significant developments affecting the market. The team offers the full range of derivatives and structured products and advises on the related regulatory concerns that accompany them. Their well-established presence in key financial centres, enables them to represent a diverse range of clients in both international and local derivatives matters. Their  significant cross-border presence and practice area expertise allows them to assist clients in effectively using derivatives transactions to achieve their accounting, investment, legal and tax objectives. The team handles all aspects of derivatives transactions—from negotiation and documentation, through the structuring, development and restructuring of derivatives. Clients include: • Commercial and investment banks • Hedge funds, private equity funds, investment funds, investment advisers and credit enhancement providers • Structured investment funds and special-purpose entities Corporate entities • Credit enhancement providers • Sovereigns, central banks and multilateral development banks • Investment authorities, sovereign wealth funds and quasi-governmental organisations • Market intermediaries.
