Planning lawyers 1 – 4 & 5+ years’ PQE LONDON

Our client, a commercial law firm in London is looking to recruit two Planning lawyers – one of 1 to 4 years’ PQE and the other of 5 or more years’ PQE. The team is currently working on a large number of open files and also advises on related matters for colleagues in other teams firm wide. There has been a spike in judicial review work which is expected to continue as well as ongoing high profile and complex matters requiring heritage, environment, CPO and DCO advice. The team typically undertakes planning and enforcement appeals, complex planning and highways agreements, complicated redevelopments and enforcement action matters that are interesting in nature. The opportunities available offer high quality and varied work, a great deal of client contact and the chance to become involved in practice development.  It is an interesting time to join this firm in terms of the variety and calibre of work in the pipeline as well as the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team in a fast-moving area of law. Whilst your designated office will be the firm’s London office the team is currently working remotely and so as long as you are willing to come into the office on occasion, you may not necessarily need to be currently living close to London.
