Large commercial law firm in London is seeking to recruit a Real Estate Finance Senior Associate of 5 or more years’ PQE. The Banking and Finance practice covers a wide range of areas, in particular corporate lending, acquisition and leveraged finance, real estate finance, asset based lending, oil and gas/reserves based lending, trade finance, emerging market financing and telecoms finance. The team acts regularly act for major banks, credit funds, financial institutions and other debt providers, corporate borrowers, financial advisers and private equity sponsors on a range of matters. Due to a mix of internal partner promotions and lateral hires, they have grown and expanded in the past few years. They are continuing to invest in the London team and would expect to continue to expand over the next few years.

As a result, they require a Real Estate Finance Associate to take the lead and project manage Real Estate Finance transactions, as well as mentoring more junior associates and paralegals. You will also assist in the structuring of transactions, as well as drafting and negotiating key finance documents and supervising the drafting of junior associates. The successful candidate will have experience of drafting facility agreements, inter-creditor agreements, security documents and a good working knowledge of the provisions of LMA standard Real Estate Finance documents.
