EL / PL Fee Earner

EL / PL Fee Earner, Paralegals, Legal Executives and Solicitors considered, 4+ PQE, Leeds – I am working with an established, full-service law firm who are actively seeking the addition of a confident and hard-working EL / PL Fee Earner.

THE ROLE:
The appointed EL / PL Fee Earner will be responsible for their own busy caseload of Employers’ and Public Liability claims. You will be expected to deal with new enquiries, vet the claims, draft claims notification forms, liaise with third party insurers/solicitors, request medical records, arrange medical examinations and review such reports and negotiate settlements. The successful EL / PL Fee Earner will be picking up on an existing case load of files including litigated files, both Part 7 and Part 8, from issue to trial.
 
THE CANDIDATE:
In order to be successful in this role, applicants must have prior experience (ideally 4 years) of handling their own caseload of Employers’ and Public Liability claims. Applications are sought from Paralegals, Legal Executives or Solicitors who have experience in running portal claims from start to finish and who have experience in dealing with litigated files. You will have experience of using case management systems and time recording, this firm operate on the Proclaim system so any experience of this would be advantageous. The appointed candidate must have excellent client care skills and attention to detail along with the ability to prioritise work.
